Human Resources Manager

Location: San Gabriel, CA


This position is responsible for providing HR support to the healthcare company with regards to all aspects of HR including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, retention strategy, HR reporting, employment law, policy interpretation and other HR functions as assigned.


Job Description 

  • Provide support to employees and managers in handling of all human resource related activities.   

  • Administers performance review policy and procedure and related documentation.   

  • Provides Support to HR and employees of ongoing HR initiatives and projects.   

  • Establishes and maintains HR documentation and standard operating procedures.   

  • Creates reports as assigned/requested.  

  • Manage, grow and mentor a team of HR practitioners.   

  • Work closely with the Director of HR to recommend improvements.   

  • Assists in recruitment efforts including but not limited to: new hire, coordination of openings, and development of job descriptions.

  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration.   

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Human Resources with at least 3 years’ management experience.   

  • Must have working knowledge of HR practices, policies, and basic California employment laws in order to ascertain the correct action and respond to issues as they arise.   

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.   

  • Must possess business savvy, and demonstrate a strategic focus and sense of urgency.   

  • Must be able to exercise strong influence and negotiating skills as well as good analytical skills.   

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills required.   

  • Must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with HR team and all employees.   

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment and remain calm and focused under pressure is essential.   

  • Must be able to keep confidential information secure.   

  • Must be self-motivated, able to organize and prioritize workload, pay close attention to details, work well under time constraints, and handle multiple tasks easily.   

  • Requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work and make decisions independently.
